正月に何気なくTVのスイッチをONにすると、「BS1スペシャル▽“衝撃の書”が語る人類の未来～サピエンス全史／ホモ・デウス～」（http://www4.nhk.or.jp/bs1sp/x/2019-01-01/11/32063/3115510/）をやっていた。

ふ～ん、なるほど、なるほどと、観ていたら、Minimal cellなんてものが出てきた。

Maxicell（Simple method for identification of plasmid-coded proteins.　https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/368040）なら実験で利用したことがあるが、Minimalとは、これ如何に。

細胞機能に必要な最低限の遺伝子をもった細胞・・・

なるほど・・・

遺伝子が全合成できる時代・・・

それも然り・・・

決して、日本人はトライしないような荒業（海外の研究者は、時に大荒業をやる大胆さと資金力がある）。

生命の進化などを探る、一手法になり得る（あるところまで来ると、倫理的な問題も生じてくるが・・・）。
